Exact recital times are set by the chair after registrations are received, ten days before recital date.
These recitals are fairly formal, yet rather low-key events. Several teachers from the Hillsboro area plan and host four to six recitals each year, with student and teacher performers from all around the Hillsboro area. All students are welcome to participate, but not required to do so.
Expected Dress--for girls, dresses, skirts or nice slacks & blouses or sweaters. For boys, nice slacks and shirts or sweaters, ties are optional. Please be sure that your shoes are appropriate for pedaling, and do practice your piece in your planned attire before the day of the recital.
